The Craft Patch-Pintrest Tested

It has been a very busy week! I had some wonderful finds at sales last week and scanned and uploaded some of these great old bird cards that I found at one sale. Feel free to pin them or just grab 'em for a project or two. One never knows when one will need a bird or two.
    I have been on a jewelry pinning binge the past few days. But found a fun site called thecraftpatch.blogger.com. She tests stuff that she found pinned on pintrest to see if it really works. I Loved it! So check it out if you have time.

Great stuff at Annie Howes

I was trying to get this post up last night, but nothing was co-operating so...here I am today, telling you about anniehowes.com .
    I wandered around her site for an hour and am going to go buy a bunch of stuff because it is all so cool! She not only has free projects available to make these fun little pendants and rings, she sells the supplies and I have to tell you, the glamour glue and glamour glaze look fabulous! I love anything shiny and bright (maybe I was a magpie in a previous life;-) If you like doing smaller projects, go check out this site! It is a blast to look around. I also started following her on pintrest. I figure that the more people I follow, the greater variety of stuff will cross in front of me to be amazed at!

Crunchy Betty-Home Made Alpha Hydroxy Mask

If you have just started to use Pintrest, you are finding out-as I am- just how much stuff is out there! There are so many fun and wonderful sites and blogs, artists and people. When you start to click around, you have no idea where you started but, HOT DOG! You found some great stuff! That is how I felt when I found Crunchy Betty. There is so much stuff on her blog! I did the alpha hydroxy face mask today (I have it pinned under keeping me young and healthy) Milk (or 1/2 and 1/2) and lemon juice. Voila! Skin feels pretty soft and was pink and rosy when I washed it off. She has a ton of other stuff that I am going to try, so if you like to make your own stuff to put on your face, check her out.
When I figure out how to add buttons to my posts, I will add one to take you to her site. You will have a blast! Off to make my pasta primavera, so have a great night!

I got my new to me computer on Friday while I was at work and spent all day yesterday setting it up-moving files, etc. I love it. It loves me. We will have many enjoyable hours together! I was pinning this morning and found some great sites that have fun stuff. I think my favorite is naturesnurtureblog.com. She has some really great ideas for making your own products. I pinned the home-made Pam-the real Pam never works right anyhow and you wind up with spray all over you and the counter. I am going to give this a shot!

Trying to figure it out!

I thought it wold be fun to link a blog to my pintrest and share some of the fun links that I have found through there.  I am amazed, every day at the amount of talent and fun ideas that are out there! I mean, I knew there is a ton of stuff to find, but Pintrest really you find specific stuff OR conversely- stuff you never knew you needed to find! Over the next week, hopefully I will figure out how to have some fun with this blog, so, stay tuned!
